About Savannah
With 4 years of teaching experience and a MSc in Industrial Chemistry, I help students master computational chemistry. My sessions focus on predicting molecular behavior, reaction pathways, and advanced properties. Quantum chemistry and molecular dynamics form an important part of my teaching. These are explained step by step, using examples that connect theory to application. Computational software is introduced through guided practice and projects. Students quickly gain confidence in applying these tools. I’ve taught undergraduates, postgraduate students, and researchers aiming to enhance their computational expertise. Each session is interactive, encouraging learners to ask questions and think critically. I place strong emphasis on problem-solving and analytical skills. Mistakes are seen as part of the learning journey, helping students refine their approach. Lessons build steadily, giving learners a strong progression path. Over time, students achieve independence and technical skill. I believe computational chemistry empowers modern scientists. Together, we’ll develop your skills into a foundation for future success.

My tutoring approach to chemistry combines warmth, clarity, and interactive learning. Many students struggle with chemical equations, so I focus on step-by-step problem-solving. I make sessions engaging with discussions and hands-on activities. Everyday chemical phenomena are used to make theory relatable. Lab safety is stressed as an essential skill. Historical discoveries are woven into lessons to highlight chemistry’s development. Environmental chemistry connects classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. I use visual aids to clarify reactions and structures. Simple experiments reinforce concepts in memorable ways. Real-life examples help students connect science with daily life. Science Communicators and Neuroscience Buffs find my approach particularly effective. I encourage active questioning and critical thinking. Lessons are structured to build confidence gradually. My goal is to inspire a lasting curiosity and enthusiasm for chemistry.
