About Elizabeth
Not only do I love teaching, but I love playing instruments and singing in my community whenever possible. I regularly play the piano for my job as a music teacher and have experience using chord notation as well as the staff. Violin and viola are my preferred instruments when I'm playing local pit orchestra gigs, but I also love to be onstage as a singer and actor. In the past, I have performed Classical, choral, musical theater, and jazz music as a vocal soloist and ensemble member.

I love to have FUN with music and find ways to explain concepts that will really stick with you! We'll start with some basics to establish your prior knowledge and I'll tailor your lesson time in a way to best suit your learning style. We'll do a variety of warm-ups, scales, and skill builders, followed by some repertoire - a mix of my recommendations and your CHOICES!
Beginner and intermediate students are my speciality, but I also provide coaching for more advanced students in Classical music as well as musical theater. Audition prep for singers is something I really enjoy doing and had a lot of success with. Let me be that extra set of eyes and ears for you, giving you great feedback and advice so you can really secure that dream role!
