My teaching method is to break everything down so the student understands the basis of the concept to ensure I cover any gaps that the student could have missed. From there I proceed to higher-level questions and then word problems. If the student hasn't grasped the idea, I use different methods of approach such as analogies or pictures (depending on age and learning style).
I am a Food Science and Nutrition student at the University of Auckland. I used to go to Epsom Girls Grammar School and loved doing maths during high school. I have been tutoring since 2016 and I am still currently tutoring. I have more free time so I am keen to take up more students.
I have a very calm nature and carry a caring attitude to those younger than me.
