About Ursula
I am a dedicated guitar teacher with over 11 years of experience helping students reach their musical goals on stage and in the studio. I hold a Diploma of Music with a specialisation in Guitar, and I use this foundation to guide learners of all levels. My teaching goes beyond technique—I focus on expression, creativity, and confidence. I have successfully coached students for live performances, recording sessions, auditions, and even music school entry. Each lesson is tailored to meet individual needs while encouraging freedom to explore personal style. I believe that every guitarist should feel both skilled and inspired when they pick up their instrument. Stage presence is a key part of my coaching. I help students not only sound great, but also perform with confidence and connection to their audience. At the same time, I emphasise discipline and musical excellence, ensuring steady growth and strong foundations. My teaching style is encouraging yet focused, motivating students to push past limits while enjoying the process. I offer dynamic guitar lessons designed to bring out both technical skill and expressive performance in every student. With a strong focus on electric guitar, I guide learners through essential techniques, tone control, and stage presence. My teaching is not only about playing notes, but also about developing confidence, creativity, and musical identity. I create tailored lesson plans that fit each student’s goals, whether they want to refine their skills, step into performing, or simply enjoy the guitar as a passion. Small group sessions are also available, helping learners collaborate, share ideas, and grow together. To ensure progress, I align lessons with clear learning paths while leaving space for exploration and personal style. Technology plays a big role in my teaching. From amp simulators and chord diagram apps to DAWs for recording and playback, students experience a modern and interactive approach. This makes practice more engaging and gives them the tools to understand their sound better. I support students at all stages—those picking up the guitar later in life, and those aiming to push their performance or recording skills to the next level. My role is to motivate, guide, and provide the structure needed for steady progress. Together, we make the journey of learning guitar inspiring, expressive, and rewarding.
