I spent ten years in the insurance industry before discovering that teaching was my true calling and the subject of History has always been at the forefront of my interests. Now, as a History Education major at UIC, I understand how transformative the right support can be. Hello, I’m Angelica, a History Education major at UIC graduating in Fall 2025. I’m passionate about making social studies both engaging and supportive. I’ve guided learners from elementary through high school using a social‑emotional framework that centers students’ confidence as much as their comprehension.
