About Ayush
I completed my undergraduate studies at UCSD as a Math-Computer Science major and am now pursuing graduate studies in Computer Science. I have received A or A+ grades in all of my UCSD math courses and have experience teaching university-level precalculus and calculus.
I’ve also published research papers in mathematics and reinforcement learning, and I am involved in research labs at UCSD, including Professor Yusu Wang’s lab, where I work on neural algorithmic reasoning and mathematically driven machine learning methods involving graph structures, optimization, and algorithmic problem-solving. My background in both mathematics and computer science allows me to teach not just formulas, but the deeper reasoning behind concepts and problem-solving strategies.

I’m a UCSD graduate student with experience teaching precalculus and calculus to undergraduate students at UCSD. My teaching style focuses on breaking difficult concepts into smaller subproblems, mastering each step individually, and then combining them to solve larger problems with confidence. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning style while emphasizing strong fundamentals and problem solving skills. Through personalized support and consistent practice, I helped improve student performance and contributed to GPA improvement within the sections I tutored.
