About Matlhodi

As a teacher, I pride myself on being patient, understanding, and adaptable. I have experience working with students of all ages and abilities, and I am passionate about helping each and every student achieve their goals. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging, and I strive to create a classroom environment that is both supportive and challenging. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for learning with your students.

I have a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase from North-West University. I also hold a TEFL certificate, which has given me valuable experience and skills in teaching English as a foreign language.

Over the past three years, I have taught students in grades 1-3. I have found that I am particularly skilled at adapting my teaching style to suit each student's individual needs, and I have had great success in helping students who struggle with reading and writing. I believe that my ability to build strong relationships with students and their families is one of my greatest strengths.

About the lesson

I use a variety of methodologies in my lessons, depending on the student's needs and preferences. I like to focus on real-world applications of English, using topics and scenarios that students can relate to in their everyday lives. This helps make learning fun and relevant, and it also helps students to retain the information better. My unique approach to teaching makes learning enjoyable and engaging, and my students often tell me that they look forward to our lessons. I pride myself on creating a friendly and supportive learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that mistakes are an important part of the learning process, and I encourage my students to take risks and experiment with new vocabulary and grammar. This creates a safe space for students to learn and grow.

I am a native speaker of Sesotho, and I also speak English and IsiZulu. I am proficient in all three languages, and I have experience teaching all three. I can adapt my lessons to suit the needs of students at different levels, from beginner to advanced. I am passionate about language learning, and I believe that everyone can achieve fluency with the right guidance and practice.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a warm and welcoming environment, where they can feel comfortable asking questions and practicing new skills. I use a variety of activities to keep lessons interesting, including role-playing, games, songs, and more. I also like to incorporate technology into my lessons, using online resources and apps to help students learn and practice their language skills. At the end of each lesson, I like to do a quick review of what we've covered and set some goals for the next lesson. I believe that language learning should be fun and engaging, and that students should enjoy the process of learning a new language. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable and memorable, so that students will remember the information and retain it over time. And finally, I always encourage students to practice their language skills outside of the classroom, so that they can continue to improve and progress.

I am experienced in teaching students of all ages, from children to adults, and I am passionate about helping each student succeed.
