About Jaylene
I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology and I am currently working on my graduate degree in teaching. I have been teaching ELA for two years and enjoy my time in the classroom, but the pandemic has taught us a new way of teaching online and I want to apply my skills outside my classroom.

My teaching method is to build a relationship with the student to make sure there is a trust bond formed first. Then teach students a variety of skills/strategies and practice them continuously. After students have the skills needed to succeed the content can be taught more effectively because they have built that independence and practical skills needed that can be used in various settings.
