- What kind of experience do you have?
I have six years of teaching experience which involves teaching students of all ages in group and one-on-one situations. I am the brass tutor at St. Stephen's CofE Primary School in Shephards Bush where I teach both ABRSM and Trinity/Guildhall exam boards including music theory grades. I also regularly work with some of the UK's finest orchestras as an educator, visiting schools and working with talented young musicians on performance projects including the London Symphony Orchestra's Discovery projects.

- Where and with whom did you train?
I grew up in brass bands as a cornet player from the age of eight. At fourteen I moved to study the trumpet at a specialist school, Chetham's School of Music in Manchester where I completed my GCSE's and A-levels and studied with Gareth Small, principal trumpet of the Hallé Orchestra. I then moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Paul Beniston, principal trumpet of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and attained a first class honours degree. Most recently I studied at the Royal College of Music for a Masters in Performance with Alistair Mackie, principal trumpet of the Philharmonia Orchestra, and Alan Thomas, principal trumpet of the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
