About Emi

I am a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher with a Master's degree in Primary Education and 6 years of classroom experience in NSW. Teaching is not just my profession—it is something I truly love. I see myself as a lifelong learner, always seeking to expand my own knowledge and bring fresh ideas into my teaching practice. I believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. It is about building confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills that students will carry with them into every stage of their journey. My role as a tutor is not only to guide students academically, but also to encourage independence, resilience, and a love of learning. Families can be assured of my professionalism, strong educational background, and proven track record of helping students succeed. About the lesson

As a qualified primary school teacher with a Masters degree in Primary Education and 6 years of classroom experience in NSW, I bring both expertise and passion to my tutoring sessions. I specialise in supporting students from Kindergarten to Year 6 across all subject areas, offering flexible and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

My tutoring approach is centred on thorough guidance and reinforced learning. I believe in breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps and ensuring that students fully understand each stage before moving forward. I use a variety of strategies—such as guided practice, questioning techniques, and real-world examples—to make learning meaningful and memorable.

Reinforcement is a key part of my teaching: I provide opportunities for review and practice so that new knowledge becomes secure and long-lasting. I also encourage students to build confidence and independence by celebrating small achievements along the way.

Each lesson runs for one hour and is carefully structured to balance explanation, practice, and feedback. Whether a student needs help consolidating classroom learning, extending their skills, or gaining extra confidence in tricky areas, I adapt my methods to meet their goals.

My lessons are designed for all primary students (K–6), and I am committed to creating a supportive and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
