I will likely not have much structure and will expect you to direct where I go with my teaching. This means you can ask any question about the topic at any time and I will do my best to explain everything you think you don’t understand. If you don’t know what you don’t know then I’m more than happy to start at the start and take over from there.
Generally when I teach I try to use a lot of analogies and I love using pictures and diagrams to help with my explanations.I often will explain the same thing in several different ways because I know everyone has a different way of thinking. I avoid fancy physics terms until I know you have caught on to the idea then I will add relevant nomenclature in where I think it is important.
I don’t judge ignorance and no question is silly.
I have had a year of tutor experience while I was in year 13, he went from an achieved student to a merit/excellence student by the end of the year.
I took all sciences and calculus in year 13 and endorsed physics, chemistry and earth and space with excellence while endorsing the year with merit. I am now majoring in physics after passing first year engineering with mostly A’s and B’s. Current GPA is 5.4
