About Aimée

Hello! I'm Aimée, a third-year BA International Studies student at Stellenbosch University with a strong academic foundation in English studies, History, Political Science, and Economics. I offer private tutoring in English, Afrikaans, and History for learners from Grade 6 to Grade 12. I take pride in being a reliable, patient, and dedicated tutor who genuinely cares about each student’s success. About the lesson

As a third-year student at Stellenbosch University with academic experience in English studies, Political Science, History, and Economics, I bring a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to tutoring. I offer lessons in English, Afrikaans, and History for learners from upper primary to high school level (Grades 6–12), including exam preparation and essay support.

My teaching style is patient, engaging, and student-centered. I focus on building understanding through conversation, active learning techniques, and relatable examples. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s needs—whether that means strengthening grammar, improving essay structure, or mastering source-based questions.

What makes me unique is my ability to explain complex topics clearly and help students build confidence in their own voice, especially in written work. I believe in creating a relaxed but structured learning space, where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

I am fluent in both English, Afrikaans as well as German. I am happy to teach in either language depending on the student’s preference.
