About Meagan
Hello everyone! My name is Tutor Meagan, and I’m very happy to meet you!
I am a teacher because I love helping children learn new things — especially when something feels tricky at first, and then suddenly… click!
That happy “I get it now!” feeling is my favorite thing in the world.
When I was learning, I also found some things hard.
So I know how it feels to be confused and that’s why I promise to explain things slowly, kindly, and as many times as you need.
I don’t just teach because it’s my job.
I teach because I believe every child is clever in their own way
Sometimes you just need the right teacher, the right time, and a little encouragement.
In our class, you are allowed to:

In my class, math isn’t just numbers on the board.
Math is games, stories, and little challenges that make your brain go ding!
We don’t just memorize answers —
we discover them like detectives
We ask why, we try again, and we’re allowed to make mistakes (because mistakes mean your brain is growing ).
Sometimes math will:

feel like a game
feel like a secret code
And the best part?
Everyone can be good at math — yes, even you
In my class, math is not scary.
Math is something you do, talk about, move around with, and laugh about.
