About Wesley

I'm currently an undergraduate student at New York University, pursuing my passion for education both in and out of the classroom. As someone who has benefitted from incredible teachers throughout my academic journey, I'm committed to paying that forward by supporting students of all ages and backgrounds.

Education and youth advocacy have been driving forces for me. At NYU, I'm majoring in educational studies with a focus on policies and practices that promote equity and excellence. My goal is to ultimately earn a master's degree in educational policy so I can help shape a more inclusive and impactful system of learning for all children.

In the meantime, tutoring allows me to directly apply my knowledge while continually honing my skills as an educator. I've enjoyed extensive training and experience in differentiated instruction, special education, and learner-centered approaches. Just as important, I bring empathy, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset to every student interaction.

I'm dedicated to lifelong learning myself, as both a student and teacher. By collaborating with families, I aim to empower young people to become confident, passionate learners who fulfill their academic potential. I'd love to discuss how my skills and expertise can benefit your child!
