Motivated and reliable English student offering English literature/language tuition up to GCSE level in Durham

Methodology

Being a student myself, I have an excellent understanding of the most effective teaching methods to enable a student to absorb information. I am empathetic and will work through problems with students patiently. However, I will be firm when necessary to ensure that students gain the most from my lessons. My ultimate aim is to transmit my passion for English to my students so that they can eventually motivate themselves.

Experience

I have been giving private lessons to an 11-year-old and 15-year-old for 2 years now, and they have excelled in English as a result. I have received an A* at A Level English, and two 8s at GCSE English, thus have a sound understanding of how to excel under the new system.
