About Meylinda
Friendly neuroscience major student with a fitness, painting and cooking hobby! Have background experiences in the management and administration department! I have been a teacher assistant for most of my high school years teaching in my school itself or for non-profit teaching school as a way of giving back to the community that will later become our future. My passion for teaching is not only to educate students on a particular subject but to also help them understand or appreciate how education and knowledge would serve as the foundation for any of their future dreams, whether it is to be an artist, a scientist, a lawyer or a business owner!

My teaching method is to facilitate individual students with different learning activities which suit them best! I believe in the feedback and reward system to motivate and excite student to initiate a project that is of their main interest, to cultivate it and help them achieve their best performance possible without the pressure! My lesson structure would include a basic activity that will provide me an insight to the skill level of each individuals, after knowing this I would continue to give the same projects but with different level of main requirements. Just like learning objectives, it would challenge and teach them different and new skills that they can be inspired from and then use in their own projects!
As a teacher, Im patient and I understand that things may be difficult. Therefore, if they struggle with their objectives, I would demonstrate, advise and give feedbacks that is positive instead of negative. As shown in many scientific studies, students who are given a rewarding reinforcement, will learn and remember their studies better! My goal is to make studying an enjoyable task which is taken seriously not because they have to but because they love the tasks!
