About Shreyas
My professional journey in Mathematics began with a fascination for patterns and logical reasoning. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I developed both theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills. Over 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students from elementary school math through SAT math and introductory Calculus, helping them strengthen their understanding and build long-term confidence. Mathematics becomes intuitive when students understand the relationships between concepts rather than memorizing procedures. My lessons focus on foundational understanding across elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and advanced topics, using a calm and structured approach. I emphasize reasoning, problem-solving strategies, and pattern recognition, enabling learners to tackle complex problems with confidence. Lessons incorporate guided practice, discussion, and reflective thinking to reinforce understanding.
Instruction is adapted to the learner’s level. Elementary learners develop number sense, basic operations, and confidence in problem-solving. Middle-level students focus on algebraic thinking, geometry visualization, and proportional reasoning typical of middle school math. Advanced learners work on algebra, SAT math preparation, and introductory Calculus concepts with a focus on analytical thinking and logical rigor. Each session integrates examples, practice problems, and corrective feedback to ensure comprehensive understanding.
Mathematics lessons also build discipline, focus, and logical reasoning. As students progress, they develop patience, independence, and confidence that extend beyond math.
