I'm currently studying Politics and Journalism at De Montfort University in Leicester, and I'm in my second year. Previously, I've worked with MPs and local representatives as a Member of the UK Youth Parliament, helping to deliver real change for people.
I'll be teaching citizenship after completing my GCSE in the subject at upper school, and I can bring my expertise as a journalist and a newsreader to the course, being able to provide useful material about current affairs and the state of politics in the UK and globally to my lessons.
I aim to work on the curriculum for your exam board and develop your current understanding of the subject through extra, beneficial content relating to today's news.
But most importantly, I want to deliver sessions that engage you in citizenship, rather than bore you away from it!
I've presented content relating to politics and citizenship since upper school, and while this is my first tutoring role, I'm able to engage students with knowledge that I've gained as a youth politician and through taking GCSE citizenship - an advantage that you won't find anywhere else!
