About Nicole
I have grown up knowing that teaching was something that I have always wanted to do. When it came time to pick a career I knew that teaching was it! I am passionate about learning, and curriculum and what will make students understand the skill that is being learned. I always go above and beyond in my own classroom to help my students- so I would do the same for you! I have my NJ state teaching license for elementary education K-6. I am currently working towards my masters degree in Administration.
Learning does not have to be challenging, with the proper instructor and learning tools learning can be easy to understand- and I promise to give you that experience!

My lessons will be based on the way that you learn best. If you are currently in school, or if you know that there is a skill that you need to work towards achieving. Lessons will follow a pattern of teach, guide, practice, check understanding. There will always be a mini lesson on the skill that needs practicing, followed by me guiding the skill for you to observe, then a chance for you to work independently to show your understanding.
I am currently a teacher at a public school and teach students with a variety of learning needs. I am willing and able to change the lesson at the drop of a hat if something is not working for your learning style. I will always have another form of the skill on hand for you to learn from.
Learning for me ,is about fun, and making connections from your world to the skill you are working on.
