I am currently in college to earn my Mathematics for Secondary Education degree. My background in tutoring is an array of peers, family, and friends. I currently help my fellow classmates with their own questions and difficulties in our shared classes.

I believe when teaching a student one on one you should meet their unique learning needs. Some students learn more visually, others need hands-on practice, and some get overwhelmed by those two and need a more gentle approach with small steps to get to the larger ones.
When handling a group of students it is important to try and appeal to each type of learning most people would fall under (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic), but also keep aware of individual needs. My teaching style is very unique to the student, my first goal is always to find out what they know well and how they build their memory.
