My teaching method is firstly to make sure the student got the most fundamental knowledges solid and then I will follow the way up to the current content. I believe a solid foundation is more important than just memorizing sentences and equations. I think approaching any question with first principal is always the best way. However for last minute tutoring before exams I have another way of teaching, which basically stuffs everything you need to know to not fail an exam into your brain in a limited amount of time. I also do have a lot of examples and ways of thinking that I would love to share with you. I prefer student to tell me which part they need to work on so I could be well prepared for the lesson but also I would like the student to do a lot of questions and find any problem in understandings to ask me. I would set homework but it is not compulsory, as long as you are confident with the content I fine with you skipping the homework.
I am a year 13 Kings college student who have been tutoring in school for 3 years, I have achieved A* in A-level computer science and mathematics also obtained top in the world in maths. AS level 90+ for Physics and chemistry in year 12, and I self studied full course for A-level physics already. I consider myself as a experienced tutor and I believe the way I learn all my subjects will make you learn much faster and obtain a more solid foundation. I’m currently taking A level further mathematics, physics and chemistry. As long as what I have learnt I can teach. Trust my quality. I can absolutely teach any level below these. Also NCEA syllabus below these qualifications.
