Methodology
I am very passionate about teaching and about my language and culture and that comes across in my lessons. As a language learner myself I fully understand the difficulties we encounter when learning a new language. Each student has different needs and that is why I tailor my lessons to suit you. My lesson planning is thorough and it will reflect your requirements.
In my lessons I provide a variety of interactive, fun-learning opportunities, as well as clear structures which maintain pace and motivation. You also get access to our virtual library where there is a vast array of materials to keep on practising in your own time. I enjoy designing teaching materials and I actively collaborate with several educational websites creating resources. I also have a blog where I share my resources with other teachers and students.
Experience
After completing my English degree in Spain, I moved to England to do my teacher training. I completed the PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University. I have over 10 years of teaching experience working in a variety of schools across the UK. I spent six years working in one of the top independent schools in the country. I was in charge of GCSE and A Level classes and I worked very hard to maintain the school’s high standards for outstanding exam results. I also have experience as a GCSE and A Level examiner. I am qualified to prepare for the SIELE exam and I am currently in the process of becoming a DELE examiner. For the past two years I have been working as an online tutor for a Japanese language school.

Margarita is a fantastic teacher. She is extremely helpful and conscientious. She helped my daughter prepare for her A Level examination and we were more than pleased with the outcome. She went the extra mile in every lesson to ensure my daughter's needs were catered for. Needless to say my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her lessons.
