About the lesson

Using the most modern methods, tailored to the learners needs, I deliver high quality ESOL lessons. Experience with adults and children. Initially I work with the learner to find out what they want to learn and how they want to learn it. I need to know what kind of learner they are so I can make sure they get the best experience of learning. I work on all four language skills and put an emphasis on learning vocabulary and functions initially. I am a specialist in the English Language requirements for visa and immigration purposes.

About Mary

I have over 30 years experience in 10 different countries working for the International House and the British Council. I was a CELTA/DELTA Trainer too. I returned tot he UK in 2002 and since them have been working in Community Education working with adults in literacies and ESOL. The learners I have worked with here have succeeded in:-
achieving the SELT test for immigration purposes, ILR and Naturalisation
getting a better job or a job in their own field.
being able to make informed decisions about their own and their families lives.
attending meetings at school with their children's teachers.
take responsibility for themselves and their families and go about their daily lives without the need of a translator especially at the doctor, dentist or hospital
