About Jasmine
Hello! My name is Jasmine, otherwise known as Miss Reeves (don't worry, I won't make you call me that!) I have taught English for several years now, however, my background is in Psychology. I love applying this experience to my English lessons, exploring the inner psych of devilish characters. I absolutely love all things English, from exploring new worlds in literature, to understanding the origin of a word. I promote a love of reading through discussion; after all, reading is knowledge and knowledge is power. I want every pupil to feel safe to explore English, regardless of their ability. Every child and teenager should be given their chance to explore their full potential. I'm not looking for the next Charles Dickens (although that would be great), I want every pupil to feel valued and that they have learnt something.

Centred around a strong rapport with pupils, I cultivate a safe learning environment where pupils and students feel secure to explore their areas of improvement in English. I love teaching and believe that every pupil should have a chance to reach their full potential. Each lesson will be catered to the individual, lasting 1 hour in length. I teach English across all secondary years (11-16yrs).
