About Alma
I am a tutor and a friend, I make lessons that embrace your interests and capture your attention. I am more than welcome to start at your comfort level and begin to challenge you with a variety of lesson strategies as you become more comfortable. I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and being at the lake. I have a love and appreciation to being bilingual and a passion to give others the skills of being fluent in Spanish.

Spanish was my first language and I have been teaching Spanish to ages 1-50 for 8 years. My lessons are fun and interactive, I connect my lessons to the world around and beyond us. I individualize lessons to match your learning skills and preferences. I am friendly and personable and enjoy giving others the opportunity of learning two society driven languages.

I have a Bachelor’s in Education from Eastern Washington University and have been enrolled in Spanish Courses since I was in High School, Spanish was my first language and I have been fluent in Spanish and English since I was a child.
