About Eleanor
I am just starting my teaching career, and haven’t had a chance yet to find my way, to understand what works best with the students at their grade level. But through facilitating and hosting workshops/enablement sessions I would describe my teaching style is diverse and I prefer mixing teaching methods and students/audience also respond better to specific teaching styles. My teaching style is a mixture of delegation, discussion and direct. I feel that one can not necessarily stick to one teaching style but to incorporate all, as students differ. I'd also say it depends on the nature of the subject matter, the phase of the course, and other factors. My teaching style will inspire students to do their best at all times. I am patient, understanding and encouraging. I take opinions into consideration, opinions are opinions and I want everyone to voice their thoughts, be independent and confident when they speak and share ideas.
