About Emily
I have been a math tutor for years now. I have worked at Kumon for a year, teaching elementary, middle school, and high school level math. I also tutor one-on-one, in both high school math and middle school math. I have also taken both AP Calculus AB (I passed the AP Exam with a 5), and I am taking AP Calculus BC. I am very passionate about teaching and tutoring, and love making connections with my students.

Hello! My name is Emily, and I am a math tutor! As a previous AP Calculus student (both AB and BC), I have a lot of experience in many areas of math. I have worked as a math tutor, both at Kumon and one-on-one sessions. I have taught arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and single-variable calculus. I focus on addressing homework questions annd explaining the process behind solving. I also try to leave students with step-by-step instructions for solving similar problems. I look forward to teaching elementary, middle school, and high school students.
