About Lyla
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform in different environments. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s in Organic Chemistry, where I developed strong knowledge of reaction mechanisms and molecular structures. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students from different academic backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence in chemistry. Teaching has become a meaningful and rewarding part of my professional journey.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and highly supportive. I understand that chemistry can sometimes feel complex, so I break down difficult topics into smaller, easy-to-understand steps. I use diagrams, real-life examples, and clear explanations to make learning more effective and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions, practice regularly, and revise consistently so they can improve steadily over time without feeling overwhelmed.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring new developments in chemistry and improving my teaching methods to provide better learning experiences. This allows me to keep my lessons updated and relevant to modern academic needs. I believe chemistry is best understood through clear concepts and logical reasoning rather than memorization. My goal is to help students become confident learners who can understand reactions deeply, solve problems independently, and succeed in their academic journey while developing a lasting interest and strong confidence in their abilities.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make learning clear, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with fundamental topics such as atomic structure, periodic table, and chemical bonding, explaining each concept in very simple and clear English. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind chemical reactions instead of memorizing formulas. I use real life examples such as cooking processes, environmental changes, and everyday chemical reactions so students can connect theoretical knowledge with practical situations. I also create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning step by step.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as organic reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, equilibrium, and electrochemistry. I guide students step by step so they can understand how different concepts are connected and applied. Practice questions and application based exercises are included in every lesson to improve accuracy, understanding, and confidence. I also help students identify mistakes, understand their causes, and improve their problem solving approach through detailed explanation and guided practice. Each lesson is carefully structured to ensure steady progress and strong conceptual clarity over time.
Chemistry becomes much more interesting and manageable when students truly understand how reactions work and how different concepts are interconnected. I focus on helping learners develop strong analytical and logical thinking so they can approach problems confidently and independently. Over time, students become more comfortable solving higher level questions and begin to enjoy the subject more deeply. My goal is to help students build strong chemistry foundations, improve their problem solving abilities, and apply their knowledge effectively in exams and real world situations while developing deep understanding, confidence, and long term academic success in the subject.
