About Oliver
I'm currently a first year undergrad at Cambridge studying Chemistry, Maths and Biology modules as part of a Natural Sciences degree. I have tutored groups and individuals of all abilities in GCSE and A-level Chemistry for 2 years, and with my recent experience of going through said exams I can empathise with issues students can face.

If learning is stressful it's being done wrong.
From personal experience I know that once a fear of a question sets in, a student's performance plummets - particularly in Maths. That is why sessions will always be designed to ensure that the basics have been truly understood, and then by looking at questions we can see how to use those basics so that any question is manageable.
While every lesson is very adaptable, a typical hour may consist of going over homework questions and checking that all the basics have been mastered. If not, then we'll work through those basics together! We can expand into different applications of the same basic step to see how it applies in an exam. And throughout the session we will be doubling down on exam technique, as small improvements here can see big returns in grades.
